Simmilar style

I found This video in Youtube.com and i think it's great to visualize our video because it's have the same style as our video, basically the most simmilar is using only words without sound so people will get the message more clearly.

The video is using the drama advertising style and make us to thinkin what we must do. The different is he using a sad ending to make people really think and we use happy ending to make people pleased about they choice.

The Video is also being made by a student and got an A (we hope ours HD). So enjoy the video and hope ours can be like this video.

The Fun Parts

In the week 8 we finally done all our shoot. In Toula class faye mixing the scene one by one together the result is really nice and it's have more than 3 minutes, we still need to edit it more, but from now i can see the video it will be great.

However there's some glitches in our scene such as different position of some thing but we will work hard to fix it. Other than that the video is really nice and have good continuity. There's not much thing we doing for Video in this week other than edit it, but the next week we must submit our journal, synopsis, treatment, etc. so we concentrate more in our assignmnet consider our video is almost finish.

The video making: part II

Oooo..., this is really bad week, after editing in Toula class we founds many error in our video, start from the sound problem and accidentally caught the unwanted pictures. We decided to make it all over again from the beginning so it will consume more time.

The good news from this week is we got a permission to take a shoot in one of sports club in Wollonggong; It's really far it's take 2 hrs by a train to go there but it's the best option for us so we decided to go there at sunday.

In Saturday our group remake the hospital scene in Faye house, unfornatelly i cannot go there because i have important thing to do, so they make it without me.

In Sunday we caught scene in wollonggong and the groups seem excited when they see the athletic course, it's really nice and very big, the wind and the sun also friendly make us feel comfortable to take a shoot here.

There's not much difficulties in the making of this scene; because we got the great place and the group is really energetic in doing the shoot. However around 12pm the sky is being dark and we affraid it will raining soon, however it's not, the shoot is really smooth this time without any problem.

We finish around 14pm; actually we want to fix some scene but the track is being used by the sports club for some competition so we must packing up and we call a taxi to go to train station, I think all of us is sleeping in the train (i'm not sure because I'm the first one that sleep); yeah it's so exhausted but we happy. We arrived around 5pm in Central Station and our group is put everything in Jin/Shu place and go straight home.

The video making: part 1

In week 6 on Sunday 25 November 2007 we made first effort to shoot the first scene of our video. I'm quite suprised because i don't know there's a changing in plan for hospital scene; before we planned to shoot in Blue Building but now it's moved to Faye house. Our group plus Arya; our classmate (will played as Emily the recipients) catch a bus from Town Hall. After we arrived in Faye place's some of the group take a breakfast and clean the room to make sure it will not disturb the video making. Shortly after each person finish eating, Jin start to make over Arya so her face is similar with really sick person. Faye, Shulina and I prepare the tools and after that check the room that we will use for shooting.


Along the video making we also encounter several problems; first: we a bit confuse with how to take an angle in the room because it's to narrow and the zooming cannot sufficient to make a wide shoot, second: the lightning we borrow from PSU is not working and make our group affraid because we think it's must be our responsibilities. However after do a discusion we can handle all of that.


The shooting is going well and we have a lot of fun together, especially the parts when Emily sister; Emilia that being played by Jin is being shoot, it's really funny but in the same time it's make this parts is the longest time to being taken because we keep laughing seeing Jin expression.


The shoot is finished at 5pm it's fun but also exhausted, we hoping the best result on Toula class when we editing on Toula class the next day.

Visualization of idea

In this week we made an story board due to class presentation in the class. We made the storyboard together in Building 5 and its timing consume, because along the visualization we also just started to thinking about the angle and shoot type of camera. In this group meeting Jin and I have the roles as the visualization team meanwhile Faye and Shulina concentrated on the presentation of idea. The idea presentation is consuming much time as we started from 11am and just finished in 7pm, however we satisfied with the results.

Basically we have 12 picture and we quite satisfied with our storyboard as Jin the one that draw our board is great artist. In this time we also start to thinking to change the role of doctor in our video and change it with Emily sister. Below we it show the final image of our storyboard;

It's lovely and full colour too, basically the picture number 2-5 are planned to be taken in blue building, the rest of them are taken in athletic park, and for picture number 6 it will be use as the conector from hospital scene and park scene.

After we finish the board, i do the rough calculation of the length of video and i found that the video can be longer than 3 mins (the requirement for Toula assignment).

And finally as the result from our presentation is the class seem blinded about the organ donation, as Toula said she think when she tick the forms for Driving license she already considered as donor, but it's not true, there are few procedures before u can be considered as donor. She also said we need to mention that things in our video, however our video is purposed for increased the awareness and for the further information they can found in our website, as we will give it in the video.

Finally we feel pleased with our presentation as Toula said we have wonderfull storyboard, and we also must do our best to create wonderfull video.

Mix it Together

This week we try to mix the concept of our video together. Because the concept of baton is really wonderful we try to hold the concept to our video. So basicly we will use Faye idea but mix it with some element from my script. The element from my script is we will give more information in the middle of our video, so it will be more clear and will not left people in confusion. Faye scenario also will be changed so we will not use the church as shoot area and only focusing on hospital and athletic track. Other problem that come in our mind in this new video is; How we can find a hospital as a shoot place? but after thinking a little bit we decide to make a fake hospital, and this fake hospital is actually located in our classroom at Blue Building.

At the end of the weeks we already decided that we will use 3 actors in advertisng; Emily, Doctor and one person as the one that pass baton to Emily hand.

We are so happy because this two weeks, the video idea really stressed we out and finally it finished and we can continue to make the video and concentrate on different tasks.

Two script

In the second week our group developed two script for our advertising, made by Faye and me. We arrive on diffcul situation to decide the right script to be used for our advertising, as we found the two sript has strong and weak points itself.

Faye script is using the relay baton as the main point, this baton is symbolized life, it being passed to another person to show that we helped other people to continue their life. The video will use three different places: church, running track and hospital. The story is about a girl named emily who is an running athlete but because of organ problem she cannot run anymore, however by some miracle she finally got new organ and she can run again. The problem is; in the video we didn't mention anything about organ donation and it can make viewer be confuse, we ask Toulla and she said it's true, and the second is we use to many places, it will take time and cost, in addition we hardly to get the church that we can use. However the baton initial idea is wonderful and we wan to keep it.

My script is using 4 people as the actor and it only use 1 places, the story is there's a boy who died because of car accidents and he still have good organ to donate. The places we will use for shoot is a park, it can be anywhere and i think it easy to find a park. In this park the dead boy is passing with people that need an organ, I planned to give information above their heads about the organ they needed. After the boy meet each person he will hug them and continue to walking, it repeated 3 times, in the end of the park the boy will look back to three people he hug before and smile, three y person that being hugged will also smile. The story symbolize the boy died, and he going to other life while three person he hugged will life, but the boy is happy because he can save other people life. The problem is the story is to simple and we want give information that you can be a living donor that is imposible in my script.

Finally when we ask Toulla she said that it will be a great video if we can mix it together, so we start to think in combining the idea.

DURATION

This blogs is dedicated to be journal for my semester 4 final group projects in my communication course about Organ donation. Our goals is for increase the awareness of young people to start considered to donate their organs.


As a person that responsible for the making of video I have some consideration about what kind of video will we make for the biggest thing that disturb me more are in the duration, actually our group are decided to make an advertising programs as one of our media products, however i found it may be quite difficult because after do some research, most of the ads are only have duration around 50 to 150 sec's, and i have the feeling if the advertising last more than 3 mins it will be bored and will loose tracks. In Youtube i watch some good video (as shown above) about organ donations, altough its only around 150 secs.

The video is from Illinois organ donation The video is really touching , it give every elements that Im thinking off; touching, information and especially the music I think it will really touching people heart to be a donor.

the video also seem low budget and appicable to us to make it. Personally i will use this video as my refferences in upcomin week as the deadline for making the video coming closer.

Blog Critique : Basic Blogging for Women

The Blog, basicly encouraging women to start blogging. I think it's important because once in a while I thinking Blog is a great way to express themselves, think about new mom that often have after born depression, they may have use blog to expressing themselves rather than just standing alone taking care her new child. That is some of my opinion about why women must start blogging, "basic blogging for women" can be considered useful resources because it have interview with some successful female blogger.

The publisher of this Podcast is female blogger named Britt Bravo and she's from US. She is true blogger, and also produces podcast and teaches how to create both of them. She start posting this blog since last year at October 2006 and the blog last post are in December 2006 and since then the activity seem stopped. Her blog seem very simple with only white background, I got the feeling that Britt try to make her blog with formal concept, there not much design or anything that can attract our eyes, even she and her friends post with proper language.

Although the blog is created mainly for women; the content also gives useful material for helping every people to start their blog and enlarge it. There are two posts that actually catch my attention; 'How to Decide What Kind of Blog to Write' and '12 Way to Get More Blog Readers', these two topics is really useful resources; especially when u wants to start to write a blog.

The blog seem not very popular, as I cannot find the sitemeter i cannot calculate average reader of the blog. However I come to conclusion that the blog is not has many viewer, but even it only few people read her blog they are considered loyal viewer that often come and exchange their opinion with Britt; what I think here if they already exchange their opinion with britt, then she must be have done very got job. Interesting part is she do an interview with other female blogger, one that quite interesting is her interview with Katya Andressen, a vice president for marketing of nonprofit companies; Network for Good. Katya answer in Britt blog is excellent explain everything she's answer it straightforward makes people that read her interview bit jealous to her (I do).

Although her blog use many pictures; she never has the problem with the copyright. I think it's the matter of professionalism (I almost post her picture here), every picture she post always include the information about where she got that picture and the copyright issue. What make Basic Blogging for Women become very helpful to everyone because it gives useful resources from the expert itself that already success writes numerous blog. I don't know why Britt stopped posting in her blog; but I'm sure if she still continues her blog it will help a lot of people that want to start to write a blog either it male or female.

Finally the the last semester !!!!!!!!!

Oh my god the tension in 13 weeks of pain already finish, im so glad it's over now. Finally i can get a proper sleep for a month. I also can concentrate to find some jobs to get esxtra cash, but you know what make me really happy?

Seeing my friends studied till death for their final EXAM, ahahahahaha.

hahahaha glad i choose communication as my major it's make me feel relief right now (contrary with my opinion in the middle week that i have thousand of essay). Well i still have 2 assignment today, but it's almost finish; a presentation and a podcast.

Hoaah, i feel sleepy right now, i think i gonna take a sleep now. Prepare for my freedom day, hahahaha (i laugh a lot in this article). Bye everyone, thx Russel for your learning and sorry if i always late.

Something Wrong With Me

I don't know whats wrong with me recently, i feel that my life is ruin. My body feel not right, my timetable ruined and the ood feeling keep haunt me. It's creeping me out, i feel guilty to everyone.

What is this feeling?

Is it come from the pressure from last week of semester, maybe yes. I don't know what cause it, but i guees it's from my timetable. I don't know until mid of semester, it's ok but after that it start to decreasing and i feel is kinda ruined.

Ooooo, i feel like i will failed all subject in this semester. Yes i kinda mess with this semester, maybe because it's transition from leaving with my families to living by myself. If i think back then the source of all this problem is money, i lost my money a couple of month ago, for paying the rent ( i already post it in this blog), and i don't know that start the process opf this uneasy feeling.

It's to late to fix it now, I will try my best in the next semester to fix my lifestyle. The reason that i must go on is to try feel optimistic again everything. I don't know it's not the first time i feel this kind of feeling, it often attack me; what i hate from this feeling is make me depressed or maybe this kind of feeling called depression, hahhaha, i don't know that kind of psychological thing, but i'm sure with optimistic i can get pass of it.

Great Game on The Way !!!!!

Recently I seeing incredible game on my way to home, the graphics is so awesome. It's took 3 week to realize that game actually the sequel for the popular Blizzard games "Starcraft" (shame on me, to think Starcraft is one of my fave and i don't even know they creating the sequel). The preview just only show Protos and Terran upgrades and unit, sigh I still wait for Zerg as i always love this barbaric race. However terran and protoss sneak peek already make me ultra curious to this game.

There are hundred of new unit in the game, but there at least 4 new units that really caught my atention. Two from Protos and two from Terran.

Curious why? ok here we go

Terran Thor, my god this thing is huge, my first impression it's like Terran siege tank but thousand times way better, it have more fire powa and awesome conncept.

Last is Terran Reaper, it's just normal human like marine, medic and firebat, what makes it different is he can jump, yes he can jump. Okay i think it's cool just believe me it's cool. Its hard to find the screenshoot for reaper thought so just wait a couple day if i find it, i will post it for you guys.

My bad Podcast

Kinda sad thinking about my last podcast; not only it's got the lowest mark in my class but it also get sharp critique from my teacher. the problem is the quality of sound is very bad and altough we already fix it before in the end it still not enough to get the clear voices, but the thing what make me feel more bad is not because the sound......(speechless)

The real problem in my podcast and i really feel sorry bout that are because me and my friend make fun of all our friend that lend they time and even singing for us. We give the extra sound at the end of our Podcast after each person singing (frog, do barking, etc), at first we think it's okay because we think it's fun and they are our friends, but ..... IT'S A BIG MISTAKE.

I have thinking if we want to be profesional we must treat them as profesional to, at least we must ask for their permision, but we don't. It's like stabbing my heart when our teacher said it's not proper to do that, at that very time i fell very bad, speechless and realize how fool i am.

I just wanna say i'm SORRY to all my friends and i learn one thing to be more mature in doing something. and it will be my precious experience to think before do something.

GLOW AT THE DOCKS

Last Friday there's an Indo Party at the Docks in Darling Harbour, Yeeha it has been a while since i got a great party.

Okay, here comes the report; the party divided into two kind of mu- sic, first RnB and the other one is techno/electro. The crowd is not divided equally as the Rnb fans dominate the party so i directly go to electro section. Well im always love party so every music it's ok for me as long i can still move.

Hahaha, ok now i tell u all what i'm doin there. I came there at 12, seeing RnB dance floor and table are to full i walk along to electro section directly, after meet with couple of my friend i buy two bottle Smirnoff, there i meet with my Classmate Dama, she already bit drunk i guess as she to active (hahahaha), walkin around a bit more and helping my friend as he already drunk( we already drink at our home so a tiny vodka is enough to punch him). Seeing my friend are dying and i being separated to my other friend so i just buying other drink, well that is a mistake, a big mistake if i can say; okay that last vodka is my limit, i drunk after finish that last bottle. Whew it's hard to report something if u drank at that time, ok basically like this as far i remember i drunk and then meet with my other friend, here the situation gotten worst, he give me another drink (i forgot what kind) so i become more high. To tell the truth if i drunk i become Super Duper Ultra Masively Friendly, so in my mind every person i meet there are my friend. So i ask every person that stand next to me their name and ask them to take a photos w/ me and somewhat i feel like i already know them for 5 yrs.

I don't know how long i have been dancing, but my friend say the par- ty finish at 3am, i still unconcsious outside the docks so me and my friends walking around Darling Harbour to get some air and smoking to sober me up, still act friendly i ask everyone i meet there to take a picture with me. I take two more photograph wih nice people (man two more hours in that party i know each person in Sydney).

Okay that's all i guest the report (mostly about me thought) it's nice party, friendly and crazy. maybe if there another party i will report it again.

Have u ever lost your money, i mean your real money not from your parents but you must work to get it? and in top of that you desperately need that money for pay something. Well I do.

T_T the story is happen this Thursday, when i wake up at 5 pm me and my friend decide to buy a pack of cigarette. Actually it's ended with we buy two pack, when my friend pay his pack, he confuse because he lost his $40. BUMPPPPP, like bad omen i hav ultimate super duper bad feeling about my money at home (i keep it to pay my rent the next day), then we goin back to my place and i rushly check the money, and guest what?............... !@#$%, &^*(^, ^%*&(&* (swear word that come from my mouth that day) i have lost $250 straight away, i'm really pissed off that day because i must add extra money for paying my rent that i taken from my next month money, after that i do previous thing;

1. Swearing to his/her mother.
2. Swearing to his/her father.
3. Swearing to he/she.
4. Keep swearing to his/her and his/ her families.

Right now i'm still pissed if remember my money, because now i must double my saving for this month.

My finally words for thief around the world (especially the one who steal my money); hope u will become more poor than before and get caught soon.......

The wars of God

Recently i read about greek and norse myth, it's interesting to read their wars. In the greek they have war of Titans the battle between Olympians and Titans, on the other side Norse myth have they famous Ragnarok the battle between Aesir and various forces of Jotnar. These two wars is similar each other; they fight within their own families. War of Titans are between parents and son and Ragnarok between brother. I found Ragnarok more interesting because they hav same strength in forces while In war of Titans Olympians seem overwhelmed the Titans. today i will tell a bit much about Ragnarok the wars between norse god and mythical being.

Ragnarok interesting because even the mightiest God from Valhalla; Thor are die in battle, the same fate same as their leader Odin, most of strongest God in Valhalla side also died like Tyr, Freyr, etc. Basicaly the armies of Aesir are consist of Einhenjar; the fallen warior spirits that Odin bring to Valhalla to save the world from Ragnarok. Jotnar forces is overwhelmingly stronger than Aesir they hav 2 massive figure in their armies, Fenrir the wolf and Jomungandr the sea serpent plus the fire Giant lead by Sutr and Jotun forces of giants lead by Hrym (they all die after the battle). Odin die in the hand of Fenrir and later Odin son Vidar avenge his father and thor killing each other with Jomungandr.

The battle involves many magical creatures and wepaons, that what makkes this story more interesting Thor with Mjolnir, Odin with Gungnir, Sutr with his blazing flames (i forgot the name) and thousand of mythical being like dragon, serpent and giant wolf.

There is also many sign that appear before the war like the fall of world tree; Ygaradassil , the fall of rainbow bridge, and many more, what else do u expect from the final battle of God to decide the fate of the world.

And finally what do u Expect from the great war? The answer is:

Death casualties !!!!!!

like i mentioned before Odin, Thor, Frey, Tyr and Heimdall are all died while in Jotnar forces all of their important leader also die; Loki, Fenrir, Jomungandr, sutr and Fenrir son Garm also died. Well this must be the great battle is even forces, even power and good guys always win.

If u have a few time and need something to read, just read any article about Ragnarok, it's worth to read and maybe we can start conversation bout this.

The Transformers

Prime is back to kick Megatron ###.

Big whooooa to The Transformers, Michael Bay do tremendous works for this movie; great special effect and great plot. This is the movie that you will never regret to pay for. That are my expressions after finished watch this movie, and in addition fer that What i've done By Linkin Park is awesome.

Which affiliation will u choose?

The plot is Cybertron already destroyed and Megatron quest for Allspark power brings him to Earth, and by accident he became frozen in Arctic circle, however Archibald Witwicky unintentionally activated Megatron Navigation system and Witwicky glasses imprinted by the coordinated by of Allspark. Back to present Witwicky descendant Sam Witwicky wan to sale his ancestor glasses (through Ebay), to bought a car and get a girl. The story develop when he got Bumblebee his first car that actually a member of Autobots, that assigned to be his guardian, however Decepticons also send hunter (Barricade) to get the glasses from Sam.

Then the stories develop itself ; like Sam start to have good relationship with Mikaela Barnes, the upcoming of Autobots and the final battle between Prime and Megatron. Basically this is must seen movies.

My Quest for Dragons

Hey this is my hobby, collecting fantasy action figures called Mc'farlanes Dragons, and i'm waiting for my next collection Hunter Dragon Clans, but....... right now it's almost 2 weeks since this dragon born, but i can't find it everywhere. Yesterday i went to Comic Kingdom (forgot the name of streets) in City, and the shopkeeper said they already ordered it but still not know when it will come.

I don't want a pet like this.

I always love animals (except insect), but not this birds. Why? well i have been smokers since ages (from around the ages of 13), so it's make sense why i hate this birds, THIS BIRDS WILL FINISHED MY PACK OF CIGARETTES FASTER !!!!, man and she/he will never buy a pack of cigarettes. (btw i not really like Marllboro i more like Indonesian cigarettes)
